Thanksgivings 2025

Sharmilla and Georges flew far from the cold,
From Mauritius to Canada, and across oceans bold.
With Isaiah beside them, smiling and bright,
They landed in Seattle for warmth, food, and light.
Rikesh and Estelle opened their home with grace,
Where Rekha and Roy brought joy to the space.
Cousins united, a family made whole;
Laughter and stories that strengthen the soul.
We celebrated Isaiah; his birthday, his cheer,
A memory stamped into this beautiful year.
Then Black Friday came with its colorful storm,
Crowds and bright lights becoming our norm.
Isaiah learned something deeper that day;
What the U.S. Army stands for, its proud, steady way.
With an Army cap on, he carried that pride,
A motto of honor he’ll keep by his side.
From Thanksgiving dinner to moments we keep,
From late-night jokes to promises deep,
This visit reminded us; family is gold,
A treasure that warms us in ways untold.
Until the next gathering, may the memories stay,
Of a Thanksgiving shared in the most special way.
